-store sales were down last plont. it actually blamed the fiscal cliff in part, as well as super storm sandy. the ceo said consumers were distracted by the cliff. the storm and the election. staying with clothing, vera bradley -- well, handbags. those shares also tanking and they are blaming sandy as well but also noted their holiday season is off to a slow start. jeffri jeffries raising the tart fro tm $22 to $20. not all bad news. finisar, higher demand for tranceivers. what else? the stock down 17% year to date. finally, zynga. take a look at shares. they are up nearly 7% because they filed for a gambling license. that is right. the virtual game company wants to become a real poker company. let's bring in julia boorstin with more on this zynga story. seems like if they get it, a completely transformative thing. >> it would be transformative and zynga's definitely pushing forward with its plans to eventually make money from online gambling but the key thing here is that this is really a ways off. the stock soared as much as 9% higher this morning after it came out that zynga applied for re

aid fell sharply last week as a temporary spike caused by super storm sandy has faded. weekly applications have fallen back to a level consistent with a modest hiring. the labor department says applications drop 25,000 last week off to a seasonally adjusted 370,000. >> this will last until the work week and as for tomorrow will have morning fall. it will be dry and warmer into the we can take it a look at the fog he does see pretty widespread and that it will stay over much of the bay area until 10:00 a.m.. into the evening it will start to build along the east bay shore and your inland valley areas. it is a warm start for the morning as 53 degrees. upper 40's for daly city's and it is already on upper 40's for a sunnyvale. for those of you head in out the door you will still be sitting in the '50s and it will not be until the late morning that we will see the 60's. for those of you who are heading out this evening the temperatures will drop to the low 50s that is indicated by the blue on your screen. >> it will be low 60's for the east bay shore and inland valley area. upper
